The “Diving into Practices” PLC brings together educators across all program types—FCC, OST, and GCC—to complete the required EEC Staff Orientation Checklist.  For FCC Educators, the PLC will also emphasize how the orientation can serve as a foundational business tool to strengthen and support their FCC operations.

Through this PLC, educators will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to carry out their roles effectively while aligning with their program’s mission, values, and professional standards.

By the end of this PLC, educators will:

• Identify and understand key business practices outlined in the EEC Staff Orientation Checklist.
• Recognize the importance of protocols and procedures detailed in both staff and parent handbooks
• Learn how to apply their program’s mission and philosophy statements to guide daily operations.
• Clarify their specific duties and responsibilities within their program setting.
• Complete the EEC Staff Orientation Checklist as required.
